dis-x Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 19, 2026

dis-x is a screen sharing and display utility for connections between devices. This policy explains the information processed by the app and the permissions it uses.

Data Processing

dis-x does not require an account and does not include developer-operated advertising or analytics services. Connection details, preferences, and recent targets are stored locally on the device.

When the user starts a session, video, audio, input events, and clipboard content may be transmitted between the connected devices to provide the selected features. This session data is not uploaded to a server operated by the developer.

Permissions

Your Controls

You can disconnect a session, disable individual features, or revoke permissions in System Settings at any time. Deleting the app removes its locally stored settings.

Data Retention and Deletion

dis-x does not retain session video, audio, input events, or clipboard content on a developer-operated server. Connection details, preferences, and recent targets stored locally remain until you reset the relevant settings in the app or delete the app. You can also stop the applicable processing immediately by disconnecting the session, disabling the feature, or revoking the system permission.

User Responsibility and Safety

Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability

dis-x is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the developer disclaims all express, implied, and statutory warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, uninterrupted or error-free operation, absolute data security, and compatibility with every device, network, or operating-system version.

The developer does not operate a relay server for sessions and does not select or control the devices, networks, or content involved in a user-initiated connection. Consequences arising from user configuration, unauthorized connections, misuse, violations of law or third-party rights, device or network failures, operating-system or third-party service changes, malware, force majeure, or events beyond the developer's reasonable control remain the responsibility of the applicable party under law.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, exemplary, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, revenue, business opportunity, goodwill, data, or use of a device, even if advised that such damage may occur. The developer's total aggregate liability for all direct claims relating to the app will not exceed the amount you actually paid to the developer for the app during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, you are responsible for third-party claims, losses, and reasonable costs incurred by the developer as a result of your unlawful use of the app, infringement of third-party rights, connection to unauthorized devices, or violation of this policy.

Nothing in this section excludes or limits liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury, or any consumer right or liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. If a limitation is unenforceable in your jurisdiction, it applies only to the maximum extent permitted by law, and the remaining provisions continue in effect.

Children's Privacy

dis-x is not designed to collect personal information and does not create age-based user profiles.
